Urgent arts sector meeting
Concerns have been raised over the threat to several key Arts Victoria programs including Touring Victoria, Annual Operations and Community Partnerships.
Previously funded through the Community Support Fund, the new Coalition government is yet to confirm that this funding will continue beyond this financial year.
With the state budget due to be released in May, it is crucial that the sector meet urgently over this issue and discuss strategies going forward.
This meeting is being facilitated by the Arts Industry Council Victoria and hosted by Theatre Network Victoria.
